Starting Your Design-Build Journey

Whether you’re building a brand-new home or renovating an existing property, DB Spaces offers expert guidance from the start.

We’ll help you find the ideal site (if needed), then meet with you to understand your vision – including your desired style, layout, and lifestyle needs. We’ll also assist in setting a realistic budget and guide you through the financing process if required.

Preliminary Design & Budget Estimate

Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll draft a preliminary agreement and begin concept design work based on your goals.

Our team prepares initial architectural plans and calculates a cost estimate for the build. These designs and budgets are then reviewed with you, giving you clarity on scope, cost, and feasibility.

Final Design & Contract Agreement

With your feedback, we refine the designs into detailed working drawings. A quantity surveyor reviews the costs to ensure they align with specifications.
Our project coordinators manage this phase, preparing a full construction contract for your review and approval – with all the necessary details clearly outlined.

Construction Phase

  • Once council approval is obtained, construction begins with a dedicated Site Manager on location full-time.

  • Work is tracked against a detailed project timeline, and our in-house engineers conduct ongoing quality control checks, reporting every two weeks.

  • You’ll also receive a clear payment schedule aligned with construction milestones.

Project Handover

As the build nears completion, the Site Manager ensures all finishing touches meet our quality standards. Your new home is presented to you in pristine condition. A thorough handover inspection is conducted by our Project Manager or Managing Director, and you’ll receive a comprehensive Handover Pack with all relevant documentation.
